The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has proposed a new carbon pollution rule. It may sound complicated, but what does it really mean?

It means now is the time for YOU to show support for reducing carbon pollution from future power plants. It means we are going up against the deep pockets of the coal industry and climate change deniers. It means the Obama Administration is making good on its promise to tackle climate change. We are asking you to join over 1,000 Montanans who are telling EPA you support this HISTORIC step in the battle against climate change.

These historic standards will set the stage for the future of President Obama’s Climate Action Plan, and will pave the way for the critical next steps –limiting carbon pollution from existing power plants. Power plants are the largest source of carbon pollution in the U.S. It’s time to limit that pollution.

That is why we are issuing you a challenge: Help us send over 1,000 comments to the Environmental Protection Agency in support of the new standards.

Thank you for taking action on climate change!
